Ethiopia Eve
Hello everyone. Tomorrow's the big day! We leave at 3, so hopefully tomorrow morning won't be such an early one. We are all packed and just have a few last minute things to do around the place.
Anyway, we have a friend who has been working in Ethiopia since this summer, and in fact she went on the same trip as us last year.
She was unable to get onto blogspot and suggested we change our blog to tumblr and you can find it at http://ethiopia2010.tumblr.com/
Sorry to make things more confusing, but hopefully this second blog will work out well.
Talk to you from Africa!

Getting ready
Jeremy and I have been up in Duluth this weekend saying goodbye to our parents and doing some last minute shopping. Thank goodness for Target! We had a shopping list from our travel doctor on how to make a first-aid kit for anything that we could come across. So, we are hopefully better covered now. We are also leaving Mambo up here. :(. It is going to be very hard to not be with him for so long. He really likes staying up here, though, whether it be with his dog-uncles, Jack and Max, at my mom's house or in front of the fire at Jeremy's parents house. It will be very strange to be back at our place for the next two days without him there! Anyway, we hope to see some of you guys at Sweeny's tonight, and who knows, maybe our next blog will be when we are in Ethiopia!

Welcome!
Hello Everyone! As many of you know, Jeremy and I will be heading to Ethiopia for 8 weeks next month. I'll be working in an orphange and other pediatric hospitals and clinics in the capital city, Addis Ababa. Jeremy will be teaching English to school children. We are very excited and are getting close to START our packing. :) Anyway, we thought that we would start this blog to keep all of you updated about our adventure. We will have internet access, but it will be limited and slow. Hopefully this will be a good way to share information and pictures with you. So, this is it for now. We'll write more when we are closer to leaving. Happy New Year!
